Entering Boldly into Fellowship with God Through the Finished Work of Christ

- Introduction
One of the greatest blessings purchased by the Blood of Jesus is direct access into the presence of God. Under the Old Covenant, God’s presence was separated from man by the veil in the Temple. Only the High Priest could enter the Most Holy Place, and only once a year with sacrificial blood.
When Jesus shed His Blood on the Cross, the veil was torn from top to bottom, signifying that the barrier between God and humanity had been removed. Through His Blood, believers are no longer distant from God but are invited into intimate fellowship with the Father.
The Blood not only forgives sins; it opens the way into God’s presence, allowing believers to worship, pray, receive guidance, and enjoy relationship with Him.

The Father’s Role
The Father desired restored fellowship with humanity from the beginning. After Adam’s fall, separation entered the human experience. Through the sacrifice of Christ, the Father made a way for His children to return to intimate communion with Him.
John 14:6
“No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
The Father’s heart has always been relationship rather than religion.
The Son’s Role
Jesus became the perfect sacrifice whose Blood opened permanent access into the heavenly sanctuary.
Hebrews 9:12
“Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.”
Christ is both the sacrifice and the High Priest who brings us into God’s presence.
The Holy Spirit’s Role
The Holy Spirit now dwells within believers, making them living temples of God.
Ephesians 2:18

The Spirit empowers believers to experience God’s presence daily.
Covenant Significance
Under the Old Covenant, access was limited. Under the New Covenant, every believer has direct access to God through the Blood of Jesus.
The covenant relationship established by Christ’s Blood removes barriers and grants believers confidence before God.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You that Jesus is my High Priest and that His Blood speaks on my behalf. Draw me closer to You each day.
