One of the greatest privileges of the Christian life is the ability to hear God’s voice. From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture reveals a God who speaks to His people. He spoke to Adam in the Garden, called Abraham into covenant, instructed Moses, guided the prophets, and spoke through His Son, Jesus Christ. Today, God continues to speak through His Holy Spirit to guide, instruct, encourage, correct, and strengthen believers.
Many Christians wonder whether God still speaks today or whether they can truly hear His voice. The Bible teaches that every believer can learn to recognize the voice of the Good Shepherd. Hearing God’s voice is not reserved for prophets, pastors, or spiritual leaders—it is part of the normal Christian life.
Learning to hear God’s voice requires spiritual sensitivity, biblical discernment, and a growing relationship with the Holy Spirit. As believers spend time in God’s presence and immerse themselves in His Word, they become more familiar with His voice and His ways.

The Father’s Role
The Father desires to communicate His will, wisdom, and purposes to His children.

Heavenly Father,
