Devotional
When gold is placed into the furnace, the refiner never walks away. He watches every moment, knowing exactly how much heat is needed to remove the impurities without damaging the precious metal.
God works the same way with His children. Every trial has a purpose. He is not trying to punish you; He is preparing you. The fire reveals what needs to change so that Christ may be more clearly seen in your life.
The greatest comfort in difficult seasons is knowing that God remains present. He has not abandoned you. He is carefully shaping your character, strengthening your faith, and preparing you for greater Kingdom impact.
When the process feels difficult, remember that the Refiner never loses sight of His masterpiece.

Father, help me to trust You during every season of refining. Remove everything in my life that does not honour You, and shape me into the image of Christ. Amen.
